#### 1. Introduction (10 minutes)

- Show a video clip or a series of images depicting minor accidents (ensure they are age-appropriate and not too graphic).
- Ask students, "Has anyone seen something like this happen before?" or "What do you think happened in these pictures?"
- **State Objective** (2 minutes)
- Briefly explain the day's topic using simple language: "Today, we are going to learn about accidents, what they mean, and how we can stay safe."
#### 2. Direct Instruction (10 minutes)
- **Define 'Accident'** (3 minutes)
- Write the word "Accident" on the board.
